3 Ingredient Wings

air fryer recipe
3 Ingredient Wings
These air fryer wings are my go-to on tired days. The marinade uses just 3 pantry staples and takes less than 2 minutes to throw together with no measuring required.
Toddler approved and tired mama approved.
3 Ingredient Air Fryer Chicken Wings
One of my go-to recipes when I don’t have the energy to think and just need something quick, tasty, and toddler-approved on the table. Always hits the spot.
They’re golden and full of flavour without needing any extra oil or deep frying. I usually pair them with some soupy noodles or rice and call it a quietly complete dinner.
Even my toddlers don’t complain, and that’s saying something.
Why I Love It:
✔️ 3-ingredient marinade
✔️ No measuring, no stress
✔️ Freezer-friendly
✔️ Toddler-approved + non-toxic cook method
Ingredients:
- Chicken mid wings or drumlets
- Soy sauce
- Sesame oil
- Cornstarch (be generous!)
(Use equal-ish amounts, no need to measure exactly)
Optional:
- A small dash of garlic powder, white pepper, or anything you feel like
Instructions:
1. Pat chicken wings dry
2. Add soy sauce, sesame oil and cornstarch
3. Toss to combine and marinate for a few minutes (or however much time you have)
4. Air fry at 200°C for 20 minutes or until cooked through
👶🏻 Baby-Friendly Tip:
For toddlers under 1, use a low-sodium soy sauce or coconut aminos. You can also skip the sesame oil and brush it on separately for more control

What I Used to Make This
These are the tools I use and love. Some links are affiliate, thank you for your quiet support 🤍

Non-toxic swap
Glass Air Fryer
I chose a glass air fryer to avoid non-stick coatings. It’s a cleaner, low-tox alternative that lets you actually see your food as it cooks. Perfect for quick dinners, toddler meals, or when I need to walk away and let something crisp quietly on its own

Essential kitchen tool
Titanium Kitchen Scissors
These are the only kitchen scissors I own. They cut through meat, bones, herbs, and more, and they come apart for easy cleaning.
You only need one pair of scissors, make it this one. I’ve never looked back.

Non toxic swap
Stainless Steel Saucepan
My go-to for blanching veggies, boiling pasta, and perfect for instant noodles
Lightweight, non-toxic, and heats fast with no coating to worry about. I use this Japanese pot almost daily - it’s simple, sturdy, and quietly reliable
